11 ECONOMY OF SEX TRADE. After 1947, the timeline to 2021 has been an absurd one with backward strides to development. The assessment wheel presently points to our nation as a ?partly free? one. The status of political economics & authoritative influence has got us nothing but to question our virtues. Strengthening the ?unusual? economics of regrettable stereotypes, this study celebrates prostitution and addresses the sex workers the ideal egalitarianism it demands. The stigmatized economy with its receding demography on the validity of the workers? needs to strive hard even now for the bare minimum. Contemplating the layout of the study, we ran a primary survey into the interiors of red lights in Kolkata. Taking into account the factors like Violence, stigma, mental and physical health, the study not just finds out the quantitative estimations to their respective components bur delivers a qualitative approach as well to their undiscovered vulnerabilities that require immediate vigilance ATMAJA ACHARYA Christ University July 2021
